Kenwood Control Program
After installing the IF-10C and building the RS-232 Interface for
my TS140, I was rather surprised at the lack of public domain
software available to operate the radio. Len, KD0RC, had a base
program with the interrupt control that he was using to experiment
on his 440 with. I cleaned up the screens and input routines and
ended up with the accompanying program.
It is not the be all and end all of kenwood control programs. It
does, however, provide an easy to use computer interface. It should
work on all Kenwood radios. However, not all functions may work on
yours and your radio may have functions that are not implemented.
Play around with the configuration file to make the program more
suitable to your tastes. In particular, add the com port and your
call to the file before running the program. Any text editor should
do the job.
